I had two large spiders that inhabited my front porch. Until recently, we had a gentlemen’s agreement – they could live on my porch and eat up all the flies and bees but they must never enter the house.

That rule was broken this past week and I had the terrible job of “getting rid” of them. I did it as painless as possible, with a stick that I gingerly used in a twirling motion like I was making spider-web cotton candy.

I felt like I was dispatched to get rid of a dragon or something, but for the welfare and sanity of suedeheadica, I had to do it!

Better late than never…enjoy.

I love these ‘most interesting man alive commercials’. Here is my tribute.

I am addicted to the show Lockup, which is on almost every night on that weird MSNBC channel. It shows prison inmates and their environment, so it’s fascinating while scary all at the same time.

Speaking of psychopathic behavior – check out this youtube video mashup of a Subway commercial…it cracked me up.

Since my 9 year old son is always giving me his two cents on my suedehead strips, I though I would take him up on his offer and have him write and draw today’s issue. I helped with the narration a bit but other than that, it’s all him.

It’s always good when your child takes an interest in what your doing. I’m sure that will all change when he’s in his teens and everything I do will embarrass him…until then I’m cool.

I literally said this the other day and then sat and wondered how exactly you would go about doing something like Brutus. It’s one of those things I just had to get out of my system, so there you have it.

Fact of the matter is, we both have a pretty sarcastic take on marriage, which totally works for us.

This may or may not be the last of the ‘newly married’ themed strips, I just go where the waves take me, if you catch my drift — get it?!? Drift…like waves…ah forget it…

That’s right – this past week I took the Nestea plunge and got married. We had a beach wedding that went perfectly, which was a miracle considering all of the elements involved (family, weather, etc.).

All the pics came out awesome, however, I will definitely need to use my photoshop skills on a bunch of them seeing as we tended to attract guys with beer guts on most of our photos. And its not like they were swimming or anything, they were just standing there.

Other than that, we made it through unscathed. The fact that this total hottie of a woman is willing to deal with my baggage and ‘issues’ makes me the most fortunate guy I know. Hopefully I can keep tricking her into thinking I deserve her

My favorite holiday! (I know it’s technically not a holiday, but it is in my heart)

I was a very literal person when I was a kid. Shit, I thought every bar that said “Go-Go Girls tonite” meant that the 80′s pop girl band the Go-Go’s would be playing there…wasn’t till later when I realized, there’s no way they could play all those bars at the same time and it was a little fishy they toured in only the seediest of places.

In more news, I’m still on my honeymoon, on our way to Myrtle Beach today. And I am a bit on the crispy side from all the sun. Peace out!
